We were here during a weekend with family for a celebration, total of 8 of us. We arrived here early as we were told that during weekend it can get quite crowded. If you driving here, don’t worry as there is some parking spot at the side and at the back of the restaurant, free of charge.
It’s a big seafood restaurant and they do cater for tour groups, etc so you can see a number of tourists here. They have lots of fresh seafood on display; Crabs (Alaskan, brown bread, etc), variety of fishes, prawns, lobsters, cockles, etc. They also have the frozen seafood as well. Obviously live seafood will be more expensive than the frozen ones.
We ordered fried noodle, Shark fin soup, Nestum prawns, soft shell crab, thai sauce fish, scallop broccoli, seafood fried rice, baked oysters. You have to wait for a while for the food to arrive hence make sure you order early.
I would say the Shark fin soup is very good however it will cost you RM35 for a standard serving for one person. The prawn, soft shell crab, scallop broccoli and seafood fried rice is nice. The portion of the food is sufficient. The service is generally efficient however they seem to be in ‘rush’. Overall I will rate the whole as average/good. I find it very touristy and expensive.
