Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur… A business Hotel with good standards!

Checked in on 9th August 2013 for one night stay. I am from KL and was here for a break from everything and yet I wanted to be close to the city. The lounge area is very welcoming and looks really cosy. The check in was fast and smooth. The front desk staff was friendly and professional.

We got a room in the 32nd floor (which is a smoking room). The room was clean, odour free and done tastefully. The room was ok size and it has all the amenities (coffee tea making facility, mini bar, a big LCD tv with dvd player, a desk, iron & ironing board, bath rope, a lazy chair, a spacious bathroom, wardrobe, a safe). The room that we were in was facing KL Sentral so there not much view here.

If you are coming from KLIA to the hotel, then you can take the KLIA Express train which actually stops at KL Sentral which is just next door. I feel this hotel is most suited for business traveller as there is no other food, entertainment outlet or mall nearby which you can reach on foot. If you are your own transportation, then it will be most convenient. You are adventurous enough, you can take the public transportation (LRT – train, KTM – commuter train, taxi or even bus) in KL Sentral.  The hotel has few f&b outlet which serves good food such as Favola (Italian), Prime (steak house) and the coffeehouse.

Overall I am happy with the stay at Le Meridian. Good room and facility. Professional staffs.

I have posted this review in TripAdvisor (refer url below) and here is the response which I got from the hotel.

      • Yes, who knows how and why (we had reserved though Booking or a similar website). I remember that the bathroom was huge. And the location was convenient.

You do not live in KL, do you?
