We were here on a weekday for lunch with friends. The environment of the restaurant is simple and feels good. It’s actually pretty a small restaurant so if you are heading here with big group, best to make reservation.
We ordered stuffed baby squid (RM23), salt & pepper calamari (RM20) for starters, for main we ordered fish & chips (sea bass RM35), salmon (RM38) and seafood linguine (RM28). For drinks, we had lemonade (RM10) and Boston Iced tea (RM10).
The food is generally good. I had the sea bass fish & chips which supposed to be dipped in beer batter however it came out raw! Informed them and they prepared a new one. No apology was rendered or didn’t even notify me what was happening until I asked them. This is my main turn-off. The seafood linguine was very salty so we had no choice to reject it as well. The Boston Iced tea was supposed to be iced tea with cranberry juice. It had iced tea taste with slight cranberry juice which is not outstanding. The fried calamari was so so only. The stuffed baby squid and salmon were good.
Generally the staffs are attentive in their service. As for the f&b, it was an average experience for me. The price seems steep considering the there are many other eateries option at the same row, furthermore in Bangsar!
Visited in August 2013. How would I rate them? The atmosphere 3.5/5, Service 4/5, F&B 3.5/5.
